Jakarta, Jan 22: Indian badminton stars P V Sindhu and Lakshya Sen sailed into the quarterfinals of the Indonesia Masters tournament on Thursday with impressive victories in their pre-quarterfinal matches.
In Men’s Singles, Lakshya Sen dominated Hong Kong China’s Jason Gunawan, cruising to a 21-10, 21-11 win to secure his spot in the next round.

Meanwhile, in Women’s Singles, two-time Olympic medallist P V Sindhu edged past Denmark’s Line Hojmark Kjaerfeldt with a hard-fought 21-19, 21-18 triumph. Sindhu will next face the top seed and world number four, Chen Yu Fei of China, in what promises to be a high-stakes encounter.
