Mangaluru, Jan 23: In a significant move to promote self-employment and women empowerment, MRPL, in collaboration with JCI Ganeshpura, distributed 20 sewing machines to selected women beneficiaries on Thursday, January 22.
The initiative, funded through the MRPL CSR programme, aims to provide women with the tools and opportunities to become financially independent. The beneficiaries were carefully identified to ensure the impact of the programme reaches those in need.
Keshav Patali, manager – CSR, MRPL, was present during the event and lauded the efforts to support women entrepreneurs. Officials from JCI Ganeshpura also attended, ensuring smooth execution of the programme and engagement with the community.
The distribution of sewing machines is expected to enhance livelihood opportunities for women, fostering skill development and economic empowerment in the region.
