Bahrain: Bellevision Elects New Office-bearers for 2012-13

Bahrain, Feb 26: After having witnessed a gala Bellevision annual day on February 17, the members of Bellevision, Bahrain gathered again on Thursday February 23 at Papillon Hall to elect the new committee for the year 2012-2013, and as a thanksgiving to all the members and the ex -committee members for their efforts and hard work over the past 13 months.

The fun -filled evening kicked off by 9 pm with a prayer and welcome from the founder president Joel D'Sa. The committee and the members were given an equal opportunity to discuss the annual day celebration. After presenting the report and the financials, it was time to elect the new committee.

The election of the new committee was conducted with pomp and splendor and the following were elected:

President - Kishore D'Souza
Vice-president - Ivan Vijay D'Souza
Secretary - Pramila Martis
Assistant secretary - Rashmi Fernandes
Membership coordinator - Arun Castelino
Sports secretary - Steven lobo
Entertinement secretary - Preetham Aranha
Web coordinator - Nirmala Fernandes
Treasurer - Vincent Martis

Taking over the new role as president, the young and vibrant Kishore D'Souza thanked everyone and assured his full-fledged efforts in fulfiling his responsibilities. John D'Souza, mentor of Bellevision Bahrain, put forth his excellent thoughts on how Bellevision, Bahrain could be a role model to others.

Kishore D'Souza acknowledged the contribution of the founder president Joel D'Sa and presented a plaque of appreciation on behalf of the Bellevision, Bahrain family.

At the end the members were entertained with songs and dances. Sunil D'Sa conducted spot games with prizes. It was a fun-filled night out for members and their families.
