Massive fire guts gaming zone in Udaipur, no casualties

Udaipur, Jan 24: A massive fire broke out at a gaming zone under the Sukher police station limits in Udaipur city on Friday afternoon, causing extensive damage to the premises. No loss of life has been reported, police said.

According to Sukher police station SHO Ravindra Charan, information about the fire was received around 4 pm. “No casualty has been reported, but there has been significant damage to the property,” he said.

Firefighting teams rushed to the spot and additional fire tenders were pressed into service from nearby areas. Officials said efforts to bring the blaze under control were underway at the time of reporting.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Further details are awaited.
