I agree fully with Mr Louis that Mr Ponnuraj was resonsible for initiating some developments in Udupi.There were many Pai Kamath Shenoy etc businessman from Udupi who were not letting their property for development.Mr Ponnuraj had warned them and finally occupied their property for development.He had shown to Udupi what powers a DC can have.The road leading from Kalsanka to Ambagilu has taken more than 20 years for repair and land acqisation just beacuse the same community is not cooperating for development.Dr S Kamath kindly your knowledge and just dont vomit here what the auto driver narrated to you.

I asked who is MLA here? He said I think Pramod Madwaraj. I asked him may be Ragupathi Bhat? He said I think he is MLA of Manipal. I told there is no constituency as Manipal. It is interesting to read some comments that J P Hegde is the right man and wrong party. However I wonder what people want to say about the wrong candidate as well as the wrong party. Someone even mentioned that BJP deserve one more term at Karnataka too so that “Cancer of Minority” will drive away from Karnataka too.

I don't understand why there is so much hatred against minorities. Even if we have to believe that Congress created the "minority" agenda, has BJP done anything to rectify it? Instead BJP created another cancer of "Hinduthva" and further damaged the society. Congress wanted the development of people belonging to different sections of the society, especially lower cast. That was the main idea, however BJP used it to divide people instead of really helping in the national development.

Even now, it is still trying to push its agenda and sponsoring anti-social activities through its sister organizations. People are not dumb and fools, to believe that BJP is the clean party and a party with a difference. People belonging to the minorities have contributed immensely to the development of coastal region. Minorities don't come and say these people "Majorities" should be taught a lesson. Instead people want to work together. However in the name of politics, we have created the wall of minorities and majorities, sponsored and paid by political parties.

We are voting not for the future, but what ever you have already done for us in the past. Remember the two Balkudru concrete bridges you built when you were port n Fisheries ministers. Two Pandeshwara bridges connecting to Bennekudru temple. Then to Barkur from Sastan to Barkur it's matter of minutes.

Your efforts when Barkur main bridge collapsed being independent you did it. Mabukala Sukudru bridge. Vijay Malya promised but completed it and you paid 5 lacks from your MLA fund. You might have forgotten but we did not? Even a chief minister has not done such development in his constituency so far. Construction of roads n drinking water projects connecting drinking water pipe lines even to island in sulkudru n Balkudru three islands. This much only in my grama there are more in others areas too. God bless you. We just want you to be a minister at centre. You are a unsung hero. Hegde became minister in Jd and enjoyed all benefits as minister.In fact Mr Amarnath Shetty a truely vetern politician and humble person and trustworthy person deserved that position.Somehow Hegde was able to snatch this from Shetty.When JD was in trouble Amarnath Shetty supported it though he was not treated well by its leaders in past by ignoring him for ministerial position which he deserved, whereas Hegde sat on a rope watching which party is good for him in future. Finally finally he chose congress by ungratefully dumping his original party.Anyway thats history. Whatever said and done all politicians are same . I will still support Hegde for this position due to his secular position. After all BJP has a communal agent which is poison for the country.Unless JD(S) fields a exceptionally good candidate I will support Hegde without any choice left! Union minister, K H Muniyappa, Karkala MLA, Gopal Bhandary, Mangalore MLA, U T Khader, Bantwal MLA, Ramanath Rai, and KPCC secretary, K P Nanjundi,
Can anybody name one Occassion in this 5 Years time in which all these Leaders were together for any of the Developmental work in Coastal Karnataka ? if Yes then congress would have got very good Votes this time .But I think they havent and hence chances are Bleak for Congress
