Sonulavi Creations announces debut Konkani film ‘Vel Ghadi’

Mangaluru, Jan 28: Sonulavi Creations has officially announced its debut Konkani feature film titled ‘Vel Ghadi’. The production house recently unveiled the film’s title poster, revealing key details about the creative team and introducing the principal artistes associated with the project. The film is produced by John Wilson Lobo.

As per the poster, Norbert John will serve as the screenplay writer and director of Vel Ghadi. With this project, Norbert John makes his independent directorial debut, marking an important milestone in his creative journey. The story has been written by Roshan Nelligudde, who will also assist the director throughout the film’s production.

Sunil Nelligudde has been appointed as the public relations officer for the film, while young talent Russel Rodrigues will handle the music composition. Cinematography responsibilities will be shared by Feswith, Rayan and Alwyn Sequeira. Wilson Kateel and Wilfred R Pangla are also part of the core team, contributing to the film’s production.

According to sources close to the production team, shooting for Vel Ghadi is expected to commence soon. With a young and dedicated team at the helm, the film has already generated curiosity among Konkani cinema enthusiasts.
