Awareness talk on drug abuse held under Nasha Mukth Bharat Abhiyan at Yenepoya College

Mangaluru, Jan 28: An awareness talk on drug abuse and its prevention was organized at Yenepoya Pharmacy College & Research Centre as part of the Nasha Mukth Bharat Abhiyan. The programme was conducted by the Anti-Drug and Awareness Committee in association with the Substance Abuse Prevention Satellite Unit.

Puneet M Goankar, police sub-inspector, Konaje Police Station, was the resource person and addressed the students on the harmful effects of drug abuse, its impact on society, and preventive measures. He emphasized the role of youth in building a healthy and drug-free society.

The programme concluded with a pledge against drug abuse and a vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem. The event aimed to raise awareness and motivate students to lead a responsible, addiction-free life.
