Mount Carmel’s ANO Teena promoted as second officer at NCC pipping ceremony

Mangaluru, Jan 30: A dignified pipping ceremony was held at the 18 Kar NCC Battalion, Mangaluru on January 29, marking an important milestone in the leadership journey within the National Cadets Corps.

During the ceremony, the associate NCC officer of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru, ANO Teena was formally promoted to the rank of second officer. The stars were ceremonially pinned by Lieutenant Colonel Rohith Prakash Rai, commanding officer, 18 Kar NCC Battalion, Mangaluru, along with Subedar Major M Bahaddur Rana, 18 Kar NCC Battalion, Mangaluru.

The pipping of rank insignia symbolised the recognition of committed service, professional competence, and readiness to shoulder greater responsibilities. The promotion stands as a symbol of leadership, dedication, and authority within the National Cadets Corps, reflecting the ANO’s continued commitment to training, mentoring, and guiding cadets in the values of discipline, patriotism, and service to the nation.

The school management, principal, and staff extended their heartfelt congratulations to the ANO on this well-deserved promotion and wished continued success in service to the NCC and the nation.
