Udupi, Jan 30: A government bus travelling from Kaup towards Udupi was involved in an accident with a goods lorry near the Toyota showroom at Udyavar on the national highway on Friday, January 30.
The collision caused damage to the front portion of the bus. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, and all passengers escaped unhurt.
The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained. Traffic movement on the stretch was briefly disrupted following the incident.
Police visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
