Puttur: Bike rider seriously injured in car collision near Perabe

Puttur, Jan 31: A bike rider was seriously injured on Friday night in a collision between a car and a bike near Kochakatte in Perabe village. The injured rider, Dayanand, a resident of Hosmath Deraje, was admitted to Puttur Government Hospital for treatment.

Dayanand, an employee of MESCOM, was returning home after completing his duty when a car traveling from Kadaba towards Uppinangadi lost control while overtaking another vehicle and collided head-on with his bike.

The force of the impact caused the car to drag the bike several meters before coming to a stop.

Police from Kadaba arrived at the scene, registered a case, and have initiated an investigation into the accident.
