International conference on emerging trends held at Srinivas University, Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Jan 31: Srinivas University Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism, in collaboration with the department of interior design, department of animation, and journalism and mass media studies, successfully organised an international conference on emerging operational and management trends in hospitality, design, and digital media on January 24.

The conference was inaugurated by the esteemed vice chancellor, Dr Sathyanarayan Reddy, who wished the delegates well. The chief guest was Dr M Abdul Kadir, principal (Retd), MSS Wakf Board College, Madurai, while Hatangadi Bhaskar, P&L manager, Emirates, UAE, and Dr Shareef Povval, operations manager, V-Zone International, UAE, served as keynote speakers.

The conference featured around 16 research papers presented by faculty members from various departments. Prof Jeetha managed the conference proceedings as MC, while Prof Prashanth Prabhu, dean, Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism, extended a warm welcome to the guests. Prof Subrat Saraf, convenor of the conference, delivered an introduction speech on the topic, and Prof Kevin expressed gratitude with a vote of thanks.
