Bengaluru, Feb 1: To clear the extra rush of passengers during Maha Shivaratri, South Western Railway will operate a special train service between Yeshwantpur and Madgaon via Mangaluru.
Train No 06507 Yeshwantpur–Madgaon Special Express will depart Yeshwantpur at 12.30 pm on February 13 and reach Madgaon at 6.45 am the next day.

In the return direction, Train No 06508 Madgaon–Yeshwantpur Special Express will leave Madgaon at 11 am on February 16 and arrive at Yeshwantpur at 4.45 am the following day.
The special train will have stoppages at Chikkabanavara, Channarayapatna, Hassan, Sakleshpur, Subrahmanya Road, Kabaka Puttur, Bantwal, Surathkal, Mulki, Udupi, Barkur Brahmavar, Kundapur, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Bhatkal, Murdeshwar, Honavar, Kumta, Gokarna Road, Ankola and Karwar stations.
The train will consist of 20 coaches, including one first AC cum AC 2-tier coach, two AC 2-tier coaches, two AC 3-tier coaches, nine sleeper class coaches, four general second class coaches and two SLR/D coaches.
