Mangaluru, Feb 3: St Theresa’s School (ICSE), Bendur celebrated its Kindergarten Sports Day with great enthusiasm and joy on the school campus. The programme began with a short prayer, invoking God’s blessings for a successful and joyful event. The tiny tots, dressed smartly in black and white sports attire, filled the playground with cheer, excitement, and infectious energy.
The event was creatively inaugurated by the chief guest, Sr Chrisette BS, by bursting colourful balloons along with the children, setting a lively and joyful tone for the celebrations.






























The principal, Sr Lourdes BS, in her inspiring address, appreciated the children for their discipline and enthusiastic participation. She encouraged them to be physically active and guided them to accept both victory and defeat with a positive spirit, thereby nurturing confidence and true sportsmanship from a young age.
In her address, Sr Chrisette BS applauded the little ones for their active involvement and commended the dedicated efforts of the teachers and non-teaching staff for their commitment and hard work in making the event a grand success.
A major highlight of the programme was the well-coordinated mass drill presented by the tiny champions. With great enthusiasm and energy, the children performed using vibrant and creative props such as red hearts, pink flowers, blue butterflies, yellow suns, green turtles, and cheerful orange smileys. The colourful display mesmerised the audience and earned loud applause.
The running races were conducted with great excitement, with children participating joyfully and confidently, showcasing coordination, team spirit, and sportsmanlike behaviour. The prize distribution ceremony followed, encouraging and appreciating all participants for their sincere efforts.
The Kindergarten Sports Day concluded on a patriotic note with the singing of the National Anthem, leaving behind beautiful memories of a joyful, energetic, and meaningful celebration.
