Karkala, Feb 6: A grand and mesmerizing musical evening marked a memorable moment in the history of Mangalurean Konkani music on February 1.
‘Naxibanthlya Chedwa’ fame Roshan Belman’s ‘Nimani Sangeet Sanz’ was presented by DKF (Dammam Konkani Friends), Saudi Arabia, at Roshan Belman’s hometown, Belman.
Through this musical concert, a sum of Rs 80 lac was raised for the Humanity Charitable Trust, Belman. Under the guidance of Roshan Belman, the founder of the Humanity organisation took the lead in organising this musical event.


































The show featured 20 varieties of Konkani songs written by Roshan Belman, with music arranged by Dolwin Kolalagiri. The event also saw performances by several renowned musicians from across the region.
Approximately 2,000 people attended the event. Food counters were arranged at the venue, and Mahima Caterers, Permude, served delicious food, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.
It was a three-hour power-packed show that began and concluded on time, maintaining full enthusiasm and discipline throughout. The event was successful in all aspects, and everyone was highly pleased with the programme.
The entire event was also filmed for YouTube documentaries with the aim of spreading social awareness and will be released on social media platforms very soon.
The concert was presented as part of the decennial celebration of Humanity Trust.
