Mangaluru, Feb 6: A farewell programme was organized for the outgoing students of class X of Milagres Central School on January 31 at the Milagres College Auditorium. The programme commenced with the invocation of God’s blessings. The prayer service was led by the teachers.
The gathering was warmly welcomed by Vaiga Prashantha of grade IX. The essence of the programme, Jyothi Pradhan, was marked by the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries and teachers. The lamp of knowledge was then symbolically passed on to the grade X students, inspiring them to move ahead progressively and keep the spark of learning alive.












Shifa and Rafan Haris Moideen shared their heartfelt feelings and memorable experiences of the past ten years spent in the school. The class teacher of grade X, Melita Fernandes, expressed her love, shared valuable experiences, and appreciated the students for their growth and achievements.
The school correspondent, Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, in his presidential address, wished the students success in their Board Examinations and future endeavours. The principal, Fr Joseph Uday Fernandes, also addressed the students and wished them all the best for the years ahead.
The students of class X presented a small token of love and gratitude to the school. A farewell song by the choir group added emotion to the occasion, followed by an energetic dance performance that truly rocked the floor. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Samarth Raj of grade X, and the programme was gracefully compered by Adithya Biju of grade IX.
The programme concluded with students, teachers, and the school management bidding a warm goodbye to their beloved students, wishing them great success and expressing joy at having shared many wonderful moments together.
