AJ Cancer Institute to organise Hair Donation Camp to support cancer patients on Feb 7

Media Release

Mangaluru, Feb 6: AJ Cancer Institute, a Comprehensive Cancer Care Centre under AJ Hospital & Research Centre, is organising a Hair Donation Camp on Saturday, February 7, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The camp will be held at the 2nd Floor Conference Hall, AJ Hospital.

The initiative is being conducted in association with the Indian Cancer Society and Capeli Salon, with the objective of supporting cancer patients undergoing treatment, especially those experiencing hair loss due to chemotherapy.

Hair donated during the camp will be used to create wigs for cancer patients, helping restore confidence and emotional well-being during their treatment journey. This humanitarian effort aims to spread awareness about cancer care and encourage community participation in supporting patients beyond medical treatment.

The organisers invite students, professionals, and members of the public to actively participate in this noble cause and make a meaningful difference in the lives of cancer survivors.

For further details, interested participants may contact AJ Cancer Institute, AJ Hospital & Research Centre.
