Udupi: Blind Women’s T20 World Cup-winning Indian team visit Sri Krishna Temple

Udupi, Feb 7: Members of the Blind Women’s T20 World Cup–winning Indian women’s team visited the Sri Krishna Math in Udupi and offered special prayers, seeking divine blessings following their historic triumph.

The players offered prayers to Lord Sri Krishna through the traditional Kanakana Kindi and sought divine blessings. After offering prayers at the Sri Krishna Temple, the players proceeded to the Paryaya Shiroor Math, where they were warmly received by Paryaya Sri Shiroor Math Sri Vedavardhana Theertha Swamiji.

On the occasion, Paryaya Sri Shiroor Math Sri Vedavardhana Theertha Swamiji honoured the players and congratulated them for their remarkable achievement. He lauded their dedication, hard work, and contribution to bringing pride to the nation.

The team members also held a brief interaction with Sri Vedavardhana Theertha Swamiji and received his blessings and guidance. Later, Udupi MLA Yashpal Suvarna interacted with the players and discussed their achievements and future plans.
