Mangaluru: 21-year-old arrested with 55 gram MDMA in Ullal taluk

Mangaluru, Feb 8: Acting on credible information, personnel of Konaje police station along with members of the Mangaluru South sub-division Anti-Drug Team conducted a raid and arrested a youth for allegedly selling banned MDMA drugs in Ullal taluk.

The raid was carried out in the Navagrama site Naryaguttu Guddha area of Balepuni village within the limits of Konaje police station. During the operation, the police arrested Jordan, 21, son of Jeevan.

 

He is a permanent resident of M N P M Colony, Belagola hobli, Huliker, Srirangapatna taluk in Mandya district and was presently residing in a rented house belonging to Safiya at Kukkada Katte site in Balepuni village.

The police seized 55 gram of MDMA, one mobile phone, a digital weighing machine and other materials from his possession.

In this connection, a case has been registered at Konaje police station under Crime No 14/2026 for offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 22(a), 22(b) and 22(c) of the NDPS Act, and further investigation is underway.
