Mangaluru, Feb 9: The Institute of Port Shipping and Logistics Management (IPSLM) observed National Newspaper Day on January 29 with an engaging programme that drew enthusiastic participation from students.

Held in front of the college library, the event added academic value and highlighted the importance of cultivating regular newspaper reading habits among students. The programme witnessed active involvement, with students showing keen interest throughout the session.

The address by the resource person played a significant role in motivating students and reinforcing the relevance of newspapers in staying informed and developing critical thinking skills. As part of the initiative, free newspapers were distributed to students to encourage daily reading.
