Mangaluru: Acclaimed Konkani film ‘Bapache Putache Navim’ to be screened on Feb 15

Mangaluru, Feb 13: The critically acclaimed Konkani film Bapache Putache Navim (BPN) is set to be screened at Bharath Cinemas on public demand on February 15 at 5 pm.

Produced by Michael D’Souza and family under the Daijiworld Films banner, BPN was released in India last November and received wide appreciation for its strong storyline and realistic cinematic approach. Written and directed by Stany Bela, the film features cinematography by Joel Shaman, background score by Sanjay Rodrigues, and sound mixing by Loy Valentine Saldanha.

The film stars Walter Nandalike, Dayan D’Souza, Ron Rodrigues, Sunitha Menezes, Sweedal D’Souza, Joshal D’Souza, Melwyn Kalakul, Vinutha, and other prominent Konkani artistes.

A 100-minute feature, BPN explores parenting, relationships, and the realities of an ageing society through parallel narratives, offering a reflective and engaging cinematic experience. Tickets for the Doha screening will be available through MCC members.
