Kasargod: Inquest says Reshma died of asphyxiation; family seeks probe

Kasargod, Feb 13: The inquest report has stated that the death of social media influencer Reshma (25), popularly known as Chinnu Papu, occurred due to asphyxiation.

For further examination, organ samples have been sent to a medical laboratory in Kozhikode. Meanwhile, Reshma’s family has expressed suspicion over her death and has demanded a comprehensive investigation.

Reshma’s body was found hanging at a rented house near Uliyathadka under Vidyanagar police station limits on Monday. Her friend Sandesh rushed her to the hospital after finding her hanging inside the room, but she could not be saved.

Reshma had been staying alone in the rented room for the past few days. She was known for her cooking and travel videos in multiple languages spoken in Kasargod, including Tulu, Kannada, Malayalam and Konkani.
