Udupi: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to be inaugurated at LMH on Feb 14

Udupi, Feb 13: A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) will be inaugurated at CSI Lombard Memorial (Mission) Hospital (LMH), Udupi, on February 14 at 3 pm at the CSI LMH Auditorium.

The new unit will be inaugurated by Hemachandra Kumar, bishop, CSI–KSD.

The programme will be attended by noted paediatricians and neonatologists, Dr Guruprasad Shetty and Dr Janardhana Prabhu.

Dr Sushil Jathanna, director of LMH Udupi, will preside over the function.

The establishment of the NICU is expected to significantly enhance neonatal care services at the hospital, providing advanced medical support and critical care facilities for newborns in the region.
