USA Stun Netherlands by 93 runs in T20 World Cup Clash

Chennai, Feb 14: In the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, United States national cricket team registered a commanding 93-run victory over Netherlands national cricket team in their Group A encounter at MA Chidambaram Stadium on Friday night.

After being invited to bat first, the USA posted an imposing 196 for 6 in their allotted 20 overs, with Saiteja Mukkamalla top-scoring with 79 runs. In response, the Netherlands were bundled out for 103 in the 16th over. Harmeet Singh starred with the ball, claiming four wickets and earning the Player of the Match award.

Earlier in the day, the United Arab Emirates national cricket team defeated the Canada national cricket team by five wickets in Delhi. In another thrilling contest in Colombo, the Zimbabwe national cricket team outclassed the Australia national cricket team by 23 runs.

On Saturday, the Ireland national cricket team will face the Oman national cricket team in Colombo at 11 am. Later in the day, the England national cricket team will take on the Scotland national cricket team in Kolkata at 3 pm. The evening fixture will see the New Zealand national cricket team clash with the South Africa national cricket team in Ahmedabad from 7 pm.
