Author Reshel Fernandes to launch book 'Incredible Bharat: Vision for Viksit Bharat' on Ekta Divas

Mangaluru, Feb 14: Author Reshel Bretny Fernandes, ABVP member and Kittur Rani Chennamma Award recipient, is set to release her upcoming book "Incredible Bharat: Vision for Viksit Bharat".

Fernandes, currently a final-year LLB student at SDM Law College, has been writing extensively on topics such as Bharat @2047: Role of Youth and Surajya – Good Governance Wheel of Democracy.

The book launch coincides with National Unity Day, celebrated as Ekta Divas in India, a day dedicated to commemorating the nation’s unity and diversity.

Fernandes said the book “highlights how Bharat stands as an icon of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, promoting unified significance amongst the rich diversity, which is the strength for a Viksit Bharat.”

With plans to join the Bharatiya Janata Party shortly, Fernandes has received appreciation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as other ministers and officials for her contributions.

She has also been recognised with numerous national and international honours, including the Deshratn Award 2025, presented at Bharat Mandapam, and the J Maurus Award by the Indian Catholic Press Association.
