Kerala man held with suspected LSD worth Rs 3.15 lac in Goa

Panaji, Feb 19: A 32-year-old man from Kerala residing in Arambol was arrested on Wednesday evening for allegedly possessing suspected LSD worth Rs 3.15 lakh in North Goa.

Mandrem police said the accused, identified as Arshad Kutty, was apprehended on Quarry Road in the Ashwem-Mandrem area during a patrol operation.

Police stated that the suspected contraband was seized from his possession. A case has been registered against him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Further investigation is underway.
