Brahmavar: Rs 83,800 stolen from scooter parked near Ayyappa Swamy temple

Brahmavar, Feb 19: A theft has been reported from Handadi village within the jurisdiction of the Brahmavar police station, where Rs 83,800 was stolen from a scooter parked near the Ayyappa Swamy temple.

The incident occurred on February 13. Unknown miscreants allegedly forced open the seat of the parked scooter and stole a bag kept in the under-seat storage compartment.

The bag reportedly contained cash amounting to Rs 83,800. The accused fled the scene after committing the crime.

A case has been registered at the Brahmavar police station following a complaint filed by Satish Maindan (45), a resident of Kallur. Investigations are currently underway.
