Mangalore: Dr Meera Aranha Appointed General Manager of Karnataka Bank

Mangalore, Mar 1: Dr Meera Laetitia B Aranha, deputy general manager and chief compliance officer, currently in charge of the head office compliance department has been promoted as general manager with effect from Thursday March 1.

Dr Meera Laetitia B Aranha joined the Bank in the year 1987 as manager at the head office accounts department. She has worked in various capacities at the head office specialized advances department, KB Road, Bangalore, and head office, foreign exchange division.

Upon her elevation to the executive cadre as chief manager in 2001, she worked at the head office foreign exchange division. She became assistant general manager in 2004 and deputy general manager in 2008, and served as chief compliance officer of the Bank since February 2009.

As general manager, she will be in charge of large and corporate finance division at head office.

 Dr Meera Laetitia B Aranha is BCom, ACA, LLB, CAIIB, PhD.
