Mangaluru: 15-year-old boy goes missing from Chokkabettu

Mangaluru, Feb 22: A 15-year-old boy has been reported missing from Chokkabettu Mathada Road in Surathkal. A case has been registered at the Surathkal police station in this regard.

The missing boy, Shivanagouda, is the son of Ramanagouda. According to the family, Shivanagouda suffers from fits (epilepsy) and memory-related ailments.

The incident came to light on February 19 when his mother returned home from work around 5:30 pm and found him missing. Despite searching in all possible locations, the family could not trace him. In the police complaint, the father expressed suspicion that his son might have been lured and kidnapped by unidentified persons.

Physical description

Shivanagouda is described as having a wheatish complexion and a thin build. He is fluent in Kannada. At the time of going missing, he was wearing a blue T-shirt and blue night pants.

The station house officer has requested anyone with information regarding the boy's whereabouts to contact the Surathkal police station immediately.
