Mangaluru, Feb 25: A 28-year-old married man from Boliyar near Mudipu died in a tragic road accident that occurred in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra.
The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Rizwan, son of B H Kareem, a resident of Boliyar.
Rizwan had been working as a driver for a fish transport truck through a private company for several years. According to police sources, the accident took place on February 23 when his truck collided with another truck in Ratnagiri while he was on his way to deliver a fish consignment. Rizwan, who sustained critical injuries in the collision, breathed his last at the scene.
The deceased is survived by his parents, wife, a two-year-old child, three brothers, and three sisters. The tragic news has cast a pall of gloom over the Boliyar and Mudipu areas.
