Mangaluru, Feb 27: To ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the II PUC annual examinations 2026, the city police commissionerate has issued prohibitory orders around all examination centres. The exams are scheduled to take place from February 28 to March 17 across 33 centres in Mangaluru, Moodbidri, Ullal, and Mulki taluks.

To prevent any illegal activities or untoward incidents during the examination hours, deputy commissioner of police Mithun HN has declared a 200-metre radius around each examination centre as a restricted zone.

As per the official order, the assembly of five or more people in the restricted area is strictly prohibited. Furthermore, all photocopy (Xerox) centres, computer shops, and cyber cafes located in the vicinity of the examination centres have been ordered to remain closed during the exam timings to prevent any malpractices.

The police department has warned that strict action will be taken against individuals violating these orders. Adequate security arrangements have been made at all 33 centres to ensure that students can appear for their exams without any disruption.
