Mangaluru, Feb 27: The Lenten Retreat was held from February 23 to 26. The spiritual sessions were conducted by Fr Abraham D'Souza, SVD, and Fr Anil Fernandes, SVD, from the Divine Call Centre, Mulki.
Under the leadership and organization of the parish priest, Fr Cyprian Pinto, the retreat included Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and confessions. Approximately 1,000 devotees participated in the spiritual event.
On the final day, February 26, the film Tim Nimanim Bara Voram (Those Last Twelve Hours) was screened in the auditorium.
The members of the charismatic renewal team and choir members served as volunteers, and refreshments (cold drinks and bread) were provided to all attendees.
