Panaji, Feb 27: Tanaya Naik has been entrusted with the responsibility of captaining Goa’s Women’s Under-23 side for the upcoming Women's U-23 One Day Trophy 2025–26 season, scheduled to be held in Dehradun from March 3 to March 11, 2026.
Placed in Group E, Goa face a challenging league phase with five matches lined up in a span of nine days. The team will open its campaign against Hyderabad on March 3, followed by fixtures against Saurashtra on March 5 and Chandigarh on March 7. Goa will then take on Andhra on March 9 before wrapping up their group engagements against Delhi on March 11. The tight schedule is expected to test the squad’s depth, fitness, and consistency.

The selected lineup reflects a balanced blend of leadership and emerging talent. Alongside skipper Tanaya Naik, the squad comprises Harshita Yadav, Urvashi Govekar, Tanisha Gaikawad, Pooja Kalel, Presha Naik, Palak Arondekar, Savali Kolambkar, Metali Gawander, Nirmiti Khanvilkar, Vidika Sawant, Swarali Kasar, Siddhi Savase, Kimya Desai, Harshada Kadam, Mrunmayee Bhike, and Shilpa Sharma.
