Udupi, Feb 27: A married woman reportedly went missing on Thursday, February 26, taking her two young daughters with her and leaving a note on the table at her home, police said.

The woman, Poornima (24), a resident of a rented house behind Canara Bank near St Mary’s Circle, disappeared with her minor daughters, Anvika (3.5) and Tanvika (2).

Poornima had married Manikantha about four years ago. Following repeated disputes in the household, she had been living separately with her children at her mother’s residence.

Speaking to reporters, Poornima’s mother, Devi, said, “She left the house after 3 pm on February 26, leaving a note saying she was taking her children. She has not returned since.”

A missing person case has been registered at Shirva police station, and police are investigating to trace Poornima and her daughters.

When there are problems in your marriage life ,and there are two small children ,I say to them kindly dont go away from house with kids nowhere to live.Mother self is in danger specially now everywhere some problems arise specially to women.Second there are small children they loose a home ,basis of life school etc.But please take some advice from a social worker or some elder etc. Or adjust yourself and give your children a home by taking a seperate house for rent.Hope they are safe and no harm is done.Or she planned something else to live with ???Why she didnt leave a note not to worry about her?

Rash decision is a choice made quickly, impulsively, and without careful thought or consideration of the consequences. She has to I've with two children without any shelter over her head and financially security may make things worse and that can force her go under depression. Other consequences are expected but solution is not as simple as we think.
