Mangaluru, Mar 2: A two-day UG and PG national level management and cultural fest Shriyans-2K26 was organized by MBA department of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil on February 26 and 27. The two day fest was inaugurated by P B Ahmed Mudassar president, KCCI. Speaking on the occasion he emphasized about the role of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) in supporting business growth and nurturing entrepreneurship. He also highlighted how industry associations guide young minds through mentorship, networking, and real-world exposure.
The valedictory function was held on February. The function was presided over by Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal, Srinivas Institute of Technology.Hardik P Chauhan, principal, SCS First Grade College, Mangaluru, graced the occasion as the chief guest. He distributed prizes, trophies, and certificates to the winners of various events and delivered an inspiring and motivational speech to the participants.

In the competitive events, St Joseph Engineering College secured first place in BGMI. Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management won first place in Videography and Photography, while GFGC College, Vamadapadavu secured first place in the variety event. SDM College, Ujire won first place in face painting and also secured second place in gully cricket, whereas Shri Madhwadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Udupi won first place in gully cricket.
In PG management events, St Joseph Engineering College secured first place and Mangalore University secured second place in Marketing. In finance, Mangalore University secured first place and St Aloysius College secured second place. In HR, AJ Institute of Technology secured first place and St Joseph Engineering College secured second place. In public relations, AJ Institute of Technology secured first place and St Joseph Engineering College secured second place.
In UG events, Canara College secured first place and MAPS College secured second place in business quiz. St Agnes College, Mangalore won first place in treasure hunt. Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management secured first place in best management team and also won the titles of Best Manager (UG) and all rounder. St Joseph Engineering College won Best Manager (PG). The title of Shriyans Icon was bagged by SDM College, Ujire.
The overall championship was won by SDM College, Ujire and the overall runners-up position was secured by Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management.
The function was presided over by Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal of the institution. Dr Veena Santhosh Rai, head of the department of MBA, Prof Ankitha, staff coordinator, and student coordinators Shreyas K and Disha M Kulal were present on the occasion.
