Mangaluru: Mangala College of Nursing holds lamp lighting and oath ceremony

Mangaluru, Mar 4: A lamp lighting and oath taking ceremony was organised at New Mangala College of Nursing and Mangala School of Nursing for 13th batch of BSc nursing and 20th batch of general nursing and Midwifery on March 1, at Ishavasyam College auditorium.

The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest, Dr K Mallu, registrar, Karnataka State Nursing Council along with the presence of Dr Ganapati P chairman, Mangala Group of Educational Institutions, senior consultant anaesthesiologist, Mangala Hospital & Mangala Kidney Foundation and Prof Subrahmanya Nayak, principal, New Mangala College of Nursing and Mangala School of Nursing.

The programme was precided by Dr Ganapati P chairman of Mangala Group of Educational Institutions. Prof Subrahmanya Nayak, principal, recited the oath for the students.

Dr Vidya Setty assistant professor was the host, Kavyashree K associate professor welcomed the gathering, lecture Veena Shalet D’Souza delivered the significance of the day and Naveena P lecturer delivered the vote of thanks.
