Mangaluru, Mar 4: Mount Carmel Central School, joyfully hosted the UKG batch 2 convocation ceremony for classes UKG D and E on February 28 in the school auditorium, for the academic year 2025–26. The event marked a proud milestone as the tiny graduates prepared to step into primary school with confidence and enthusiasm.
The ceremony commenced with a dignified academic procession. The young graduates, dressed in their convocation attire, marched proudly together with the chief guest, principal, and members of the management. The proud parents and audience received them with a warm and resounding standing ovation.
















































The masters of ceremony Michelle, Nitara, Sian, and Lancy conducted the programme with poise and cheer. The celebration began with a prayer service led by the UKG D and E students, invoking God’s blessings on all gathered. This was followed by a vibrant and heartwarming welcome act performed by the LKG kids.
A formal welcome address was delivered confidently by Sidharth, Ruhi, Yatharv, and Michelle, extending a cordial welcome to the dignitaries and introduced the chief guest madam Vasudha K G, assistant professor in Clinical Psychology at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore to the gathering.
One of the most memorable and solemn moments of the ceremony was the graduation pledge administered by the principal, Sr Melissa. With hands raised and hearts full of promise, the little graduates devoutly repeated the pledge, affirming their commitment to be sincere, responsible, kind, and eager learners. The moment reflected not only their readiness to step into a new academic journey, but also the strong values instilled in them at the school. In her inspiring message, the principal congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to dream big, believe in their abilities, and work diligently towards achieving success in every step of their future journey.
In her keynote address, the chief guest madam Vasudha congratulated the young graduates and emphasized the importance of nurturing emotional and social development in early childhood. She highlighted the need to encourage children, help them build strong routines, and support each child according to their individual strengths and needs.
The celebration continued with a melodious graduation song sung by the little graduates, followed by heartfelt gratitude speeches. The audience was further delighted by lively dance performances presented by the nursery and LKG students, adding colour and cheer to the occasion.
A Parent shared touching reflections about their children’s early learning journey and growth at the school, thanked the management and teachers, and appreciated the nurturing environment of the school.
The highlight of the ceremony was the felicitation of the graduates of UKG D and E by the chief guest and other dignitaries. Each child received their graduation certificate along with their parents, amidst applause and smiles.
The programme concluded with a warm vote of thanks delivered by Jashik, Arushi, Novara, and Krish, bringing the joyous and memorable celebration to a graceful close.
