Mangaluru, Mar 6: The International Clinical Neuroimmunology workshop will be held on March 7 and 8, at KS Hegde Hospital, Avishkar Hall, ABSMIDS, Mangaluru. The two-day academic workshop is being organized by the Center for Advanced Neurological Research, Nitte (Deemed to be University) and will bring together leading neurologists, researchers and clinicians from India and across the globe.
The workshop is designed to enhance the diagnostic capabilities of practicing neurologists through practical exposure to advanced visual diagnostic tools, imaging techniques, and biomarker analysis used in neuroimmunology disorders. The programme focuses on translating emerging scientific knowledge into practical clinical applications that improve patient care.

A unique feature of ICNW 2026 is its hands-on and demonstration-based learning format, which includes live optical coherence tomography workshops, video-aided demonstrations, and interactive in-person discussions with experts from Canada, United States of America, South Asia and the UAE.
These sessions aim to equip participants with practical skills and real-world insights into the diagnosis and management of neuroimmunology disorders. The workshop is being conducted under the leadership of Dr Lekha Pandit, MD, DM, PhD, professor of neurology and director, Center for Advanced Neurological Research, KS Hegde Medical Academy, Nitte (Deemed to be University), who serves as the course director for ICNW 2026.
The workshop will be inaugurated by Dr Asha Kishore, director, Parkinson’s & Movement Disorders Centre, Aster Medicity Kochi, who will serve as the chief guest for the inaugural function. The event will be presided over by Prof (Dr) M S Moodithaya, vice-chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be University). Other dignitaries who will be present at the inaugural ceremony include Dr Harsha Halahalli, registrar, Nitte (Deemed to be University) and Dr Sandeep Rai, dean, K S Hegde Medical Academy.
