Ajman: Free Dental Checkup Camp was Held by GMC Hospital

Ajman, Mar 3:  In continuation of the human endeavor to bring about health awareness to the people in the region, the dental department of GMC Hospital, in association with Signal Middle East – Dubai organized a free Dental Checkup Camp at GMC Hospital, here, recently.

572 dental patients participated and benefitted from the two day free dental checkup camp. The GMC Ajman Dental team headed by Dr Nabeel Safwat Al Nahass, Prosthodontist and Implant Specialist ‘A’, Consult’B’ and four senior specialist dental surgeons, one oral hygienist and six dental nurses with one medical orderly carried out the comprehensive dental checkup.

This free dental camp registered the highest ever record of number of dental patients as compared to all the previous regular dental checkup camps held till date. Out of a total of 572 patients that attended the two days free dental camp 68 procedures have been carried out while 97 new patients availed scaling and polishing besides the regular dental checkup, all the patients were given complimentary signal toothpaste and toothbrush.

With the tremendous success and endearing response from the public, the dental team of GMC Hospital, here wishes to conduct more such camps to help, serve the community in a healthier manner.
