Mangaluru, Mar 11: A pedestrian who was seriously injured after being hit by a motorcycle while crossing the road succumbed to his injuries during treatment in an incident reported on the main road at Madani Nagar near Kuthar.
The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Gatti (50), a progressive farmer and resident of Mundoli.
According to reports, Dinesh was crossing the road on the main road at Madani Nagar when a speeding motorcycle rider lost control and rammed into him directly. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries despite treatment.
The deceased was a farmer and is survived by his wife and two children. A case has been registered at the local police station and further investigation is underway.
