Mangaluru, Mar 12: The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University organized a three-days certificate course for the students of BBA aviation management and BBA aviation and logistics management in collaboration with the Magic Bus India Foundation as part of their CSR initiative and supported by IBM through the IBM Skills Build platform. The programme aimed to enhance students’ technical knowledge and professional skills required in the aviation and service sectors. Students from the first, second, and final years actively participated in the programme. To ensure effective learning and participation of all students, the training was conducted in four batches on February 23 to 25 and March 3, 9 to 10.
The sessions included important modules such as Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals and Customer Service Representative training. The Artificial Intelligence module introduced students to the basics of AI and its growing role in modern industries, while the customer service module focused on developing communication skills, customer handling techniques, and professional etiquette required in the aviation and service industries.




The programme was conducted in an interactive manner, encouraging students to actively participate and gain practical insights. Upon successful completion of the course, students received three certificates through the IBM Skills Build platform, which will add value to their academic and professional profiles.
The workshop was successfully conducted under the guidance and support of the Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, Roshin K Sibi, head of the department, Maithri, student development programme coordinator and with the support of the other faculty members and staff whose collective efforts ensured smooth organization and execution of the event.
