KSRTC offers free bus travel for SSLC students during exams

Bengaluru, Mar 17: With the countdown to the annual SSLC examinations under way, authorities have announced measures aimed at easing the process for students across the state. The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has declared free bus travel for students appearing for the exams, offering relief to thousands preparing to take the crucial test.

The SSLC annual examinations for the 2025–26 academic year will be held from March 18 to April 2, with examinations scheduled between 10 am and 1:15 pm each day. Lacs of students across the state are set to appear for the tests.

According to a media release, students appearing for the examinations can travel free of cost on KSRTC buses from their residences to their respective exam centres by simply showing their hall tickets to the bus conductor. Authorities have urged students to ensure they carry their hall tickets without fail in order to avail themselves of the free travel facility.
