UAE Grants Citizenship to 53 People


Abu Dhabi, March 5 (IANS/WAM) The UAE government has granted citizenship to 53 people born to UAE mothers married to foreigners.

The General Department of Naturalisation and Residency at the interior ministry granted them the citizenships.

Major General Nasser bin Al Awadi, assistant undersecretary for the Naturalisation, Residency and Ports Affairs, congratulated the beneficiaries.
