Mangaluru, Mar 19: In a significant boost to conservation efforts, an Indian wolf named Geeta has given birth to seven pups at the Pilikula Biological Park. The litter includes four males and three females.
Indian wolves have been housed at the park for the last three years, and this is the first successful breeding of the species at the facility. Officials have termed this a major milestone in the park’s captive breeding and conservation initiatives.

The mother wolf and all seven pups are reported to be healthy and are doing well. They are currently being closely monitored by a team of veterinary doctors and animal keepers.
The pups are now active and have been moved to an area where they are open for public viewing.
