Sullia: Mescom meter reader killed after bike crashes into electric pole

Sullia, Mar 25: In a tragic road accident near Nintikallu in Sullia taluk, a Mescom staff member was killed after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into an electric pole.

The deceased has been identified as Lokanath (35), who was working on a contract basis as a meter reader with Mescom.

According to reports, the accident occurred while he was returning home from Sullia.

He sustained serious injuries in the crash and was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Sullia. However, despite medical treatment, he succumbed to his injuries.
