Congress Humiliated in Rae Bareli

Lucknow, Mar 6 (IANS): The Congress Tuesday suffered a disastrous defeat losing all five seats in Uttar Pradesh's Rae Bareli constituency, represented by party president Sonia Gandhi in the Lok Sabha.

Four of the seats were bagged by the Samajwadi Party while the fifth went to the Peace Party, Election Commission sources said.
