Los Angeles, Mar 31: LeBron James delivered a vintage triple-double performance as the Los Angeles Lakers powered past the Washington Wizards 120-101 on Monday night.
James finished with 21 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds, registering his third triple-double of the season and the 125th of his regular-season career. The win marked his 1,228th career victory, including playoffs, tying NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most all-time wins.
With star guard Luka Doncic serving a one-game suspension, James led from the front as the Lakers extended their strong run, winning 12 of their last 13 games. He attacked the rim early, including two powerful dunks in the opening quarter.

Austin Reaves added 19 points and nine assists, while Luke Kennard and Jaxson Hayes contributed 19 points each off the bench. Deandre Ayton also added 12 points as the Lakers improved their record without Doncic this season.
Washington briefly led after the first quarter, but the Lakers took control with an 11-0 run and closed the first half on a dominant 38-13 surge to build a 21-point lead. The Wizards struggled to recover despite a late push in the third quarter.
Will Riley scored 20 points and Justin Champagnie added 18 for Washington, which has now lost 19 of its last 20 games.
The Lakers would have secured a playoff berth and Pacific Division title with the win, but results elsewhere delayed their official qualification.
