Beltangady: Seon Ashram celebrates 27th annual day with simple ceremony

Beltangady, Mar 31: Seon Ashram Trust (R), Gandibagilu, celebrated its 27th annual day on March 22 with simplicity and joy. As part of the celebrations, the flag hoisting ceremony was conducted by trustee member Mary U P.

The formal function was presided over by the administrative director, Dr U C Paulose. The chief guest, Dr Prakash Prabhu, president of Rotary Club, Beltangady, graced the occasion. On this special day, he presented a poem composed by himself about Seon Ashram and extended his heartfelt wishes, appreciating the commendable services rendered by the ashram.

Medical officer Dr Shivananda Swamy briefly highlighted the growth journey of the institution and explained its present activities. The annual report was presented by the accounts officer, Soumya U P.

Trustee member Mary U P, medical officer Dr Kalamadhu Shetty, well-wisher Joseph P P, and beneficiaries Shashidhar and Aishwarya were present on the dais.

As part of the celebration, prizes were distributed to the winners of various games and sports competitions organized for the inmates and staff. Members of the management, staff, and all the inmates of the ashram were present for the event.

The programme began with a welcome address by administrator Shobha U P. Staff member Dinavathi compered the programme, while Asha Sudhakar proposed the vote of thanks.
