Mangalore: Budding Fashion Designers of MIFT Showcase Myriad Fabric Creations

Mangalore, Mar 7: Young men and women of Mangalore Institute of Fashion Technology (MIFT) walked the ramp at Town Hall here on Tuesday March 6, showcasing their vibrant creations in fabric.

The occasion was the annual day celebration of MIFT, which was inaugurated by Mangalore University deputy registrar Dr Prabhakar Neermarga.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Neermarga lauded MIFT for introducing and taking forward the fashion industry in the coastal region.

MIFT College academic director M G Hegde spoke on the virtues of hard work and urged the students to strive for success while keeping their core values intact.

MIFT College chairman Dr Aroor Prasad Rao, principal Shilpa Shetty and others were present.

Student council vice-president Bharati proposed the vote of thanks. Student council member Afra welcomed the gathering.

The fashion show along with cultural programmes won admiration from the audience. Young and budding talents showcased a variety of innovative fabric creations.

    Whats the small Kid doing there?? is this really required?? This is how parents expose children....If something goes wrong parents latter blame the concern ppl...Grow up parents, its not children's fashion show...!
