Nitte Institute to conduct 7th edition of ‘Chocolate Street’ festival in Mangaluru from Apr 11–12

Mangaluru, Apr 9: The Nitte Institute of Communication (NICO), in collaboration with KAMSCO, is set to organize the 7th edition of the city’s largest chocolate festival, ‘Chocolate Street’, on April 11 and 12 at Forum Fiza Mall.

Addressing a press conference at the Press Club on Thursday, Dr Moulya Ballal, head of NICO, stated that the inauguration ceremony will take place at 10:30 am on Friday. Mayur Shetty, founder of Solkellu Chocolate, will attend as the chief guest and officially inaugurate the event.

The two-day festival aims to promote creativity and entrepreneurship among youth. It will feature a wide range of entertainment activities, fun games, and open mic sessions for young artists to showcase their talents.

A special highlight of this year’s edition will be the official festival mascot, ‘Benny’, who is expected to be a major attraction.

Faculty coordinator Prakash, event manager Haleema Shiza, and Rahul V B were present at the press meet.
