Karnataka Social Club - Bahrain celebrates Easter with pomp & splendour

Media Release

Bahrain, Apr 10: The Karnataka Social Club held its Annual Easter function on Thursday, April 9, delivering a vibrant celebration for its members. The event kicked off with a traditional Easter Parade, successfully setting a festive tone for the evening.

Following the parade, the audience was treated to spirited dance performances by the children of club members. These three dances were expertly choreographed by Preetam Archarya, a well-known name in Bahrain's dance scene, along with budding youngster Annora D'Mello, who showcased her emerging talent in this field.

The festivities continued with the distribution of Easter eggs by the club president, Cletus Rodrigues, following a series of engaging dance activities organised by popular club member, Freeda Sequeira.

Members then participated in a lively game called ‘Recognising animal sounds’. Each participant was given a slip of paper with an animal sound and had to find other ‘family members’ making the same sound. It was a noisy yet energetic affair that kept everyone in high spirits.

A series of spot prizes coupled with a novelty dance was conducted in his unique expertise by the popular Bertram Rego. Two lucky members took home two attractive gifts.

The entertainment continued with two sessions of fast-paced contemporary music, before dinner, which left the audience calling for an encore.

After a delicious dinner, the floor opened up for a session of Bollywood hits and the ever popular Konkani Baila. The function concluded after midnight, with members heading home after a fun-filled Easter party.
